Welcome to Rusthall Community Cinema

We screen about 15 feature length films a year.  Choice of films is by suggestions from any Rusthall resident. A self appointed selection panel wittles that long list down to a dozen for all to vote on the following few months' shows. 

We precede the main feature films with a short film of 10 - 20 minutes. Our short films are often subtitled foreign made, documentaries, locally produced or relevant, or independent arthouse. We encourage local musicians and film makers to contribute.  They are of the highest quality and usually winners of significant awards.

After each show we host a discussion group along the lines of a book club where anyone who wants to stay can critique the film and benefit from others' experiences hearing sometimes obscure aspects of the film brought to light.

We cater for hot and cold drinks and snacks and have a licensed bar. Free transport available for the local infirm.

Anyone can watch our films and seats are available on a first come first served basis. We ask £7 on the door or £2 for those who complete the membership application form and transfer £36 (for a full year) to our bank account before visiting.
